outstanding Veteran Memorial constructed by the Village of Gibsonburg; and
the ongoing effort to expand and beautify this feature of William's

The Veteran Memorial is located at the Southwest corner of
Williams Park, State Route 300 North,

"Project T-Bird" Complete - Mission Accomplished!

The village has obtained a vintage
Lockheed T-33 "Shooting
Star"
or "T-Bird" aircraft from the
National Museum of the United States Air Force
that is now
on display at the Memorial. T-33A serial number 51-16988 was
disassembled in Centreville, MD, transported, reconditioned,
reassembled, detailed and raised into position at her new home
in Gibsonburg. |
